Mikko Viertola

Mikko Viertola is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Symetri Europe since July 2011, Mikko is dedicated to discovering new technologies that enhance customer value and improve internal operations. Previously, Mikko held several positions at Symetri, including Director of the Technology Unit and Director of Product Design and Lifecycle in Northern Europe. Prior to Symetri, Mikko was Managing Director at Technia Oy, responsible for business management and development in Finland. Mikko's early career included roles as CEO at Nokia, where responsibilities encompassed global PDM/PLM concept leadership, and various positions at Modultek Oy and Metso Minerals, focusing on project coordination and product development. Mikko holds an MSc in Engineering with a specialization in Production Technology from Tampere University of Technology.
