Gopi Ramamoorthy

Gopi Ramamoorthy is currently the Head of Security & GRC Engineering at Symmetry Systems, Inc., a position held since March 2022, and serves as an Advisor for Cybersecurity, Privacy, and GRC Startups from 2019 to the present. Gopi leads the Cybersecurity & Compliance Community for The Purple Book Community since April 2021 and has been a prolific speaker on cybersecurity, GRC, and privacy compliance at multiple conferences since 2014, with engagements scheduled throughout 2024. Prior experience includes leading security compliance at Veeva Systems from 2017 to 2022, managing information security as Deputy ISO at Fiserv from 2007 to 2017, engineering management at Oracle, and significant technical roles at Fujitsu/Rapidigm and Tata Consultancy Services. Gopi holds a Bachelor of Technology from Anna University Chennai and completed a Project Management course at UC Berkeley.
