Anton Willer has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and medical advisory. Anton is currently employed at Symphogen as a Team Manager and Project leader since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked for AstraZeneca as a Medical Advisor, specializing in Hematology, from November 2021 to August 2022. Anton has also held positions at Symphogen as a Senior Scientist from November 2017 to October 2021, at the Department of Clinical Immunology, Rigshospitalet as a Specialist/Senior Scientist from May 2015 to October 2017, at EpiTherapeutics ApS as a Senior Scientist from May 2014 to April 2015, at the Department of Hematology, Rigshospitalet as a Postdoc from July 2013 to April 2014, and at the Biotech Research & Innovation Centre (BRIC), University of Copenhagen as a Postdoc from June 2010 to June 2013. Anton began their career at Rigshospitalet and BRIC, University of Copenhagen as a research assistant from February 2006 to July 2006. Anton holds a PhD in a related field, having completed their doctoral studies from Rigshospitalet and BRIC, University of Copenhagen from August 2006 to June 2010.

From 1998 to 2002, they pursued an Industrial Bachelor's degree in Biology at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen. Following this, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a cand.scient degree in Biology, which lasted from 1998 to 2006. In 2002, they participated in a Socrates/Erasmus project in Genetics at Denis-Diderot Université in Paris. Later on, from 2006 to 2010, they focused on Cellular and Molecular Biology and earned a PhD degree from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen.
At a certain point, they also attended Copenhagen Business School, but no degree or field of study was specified for this particular period.
