Pia Holm Olesen

Pia Holm Olesen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

Pia Holm started their career in the financial industry, working as a Settlement Assistant at Gudme Raaschou Asset Management, HSH Nordbank, Handelsbanken, Carnegie Bank A/S, and Nordea Investment Management from 1997 to 2012. In these roles, their responsibilities included settlement of foreign securities and foreign exchange, maintaining contact with global counterparts and partners, and updating settlement instructions.

In 2013, Pia transitioned into the field of human resources. Pia Holm worked as a Company Intern in the HR and Administration Department at IBIS, Education for Development, where they optimized personnel manuals, proposed welfare and stress policies, and participated in recruitment processes.

Pia Holm then took a role as an HR Consultant at Synoptik from 2013 to 2014, providing support in job advertisement, recruitment, and preparation of contracts and internship agreements.

Pia continued their career in HR at Symphogen from 2014 to the present. Initially starting as an HR Coordinator, they handled administrative tasks, onboarding/offboarding processes, and provided support in personnel matters and employment law. Pia Holm was later promoted to HR Manager, where they took on additional responsibilities such as HR administration, development and implementation of strategies and policies, and recruitment.

Pia Holm Olesen has pursued their education in various institutions throughout their life. In 1984, they attended Ballerup Gymnasium, where they studied a Samfundssproglig field of study. In 1993, they earned a Merkonom degree in Virksomhedsøkonomi from Niels Brock. The following year, in 1994, they obtained another Merkonom degree in Virksomhedsorganisation from the same institution. Pia enrolled at Københavns Erhvervsakademi (KEA) in 2012 and completed multiple courses, including Strategisk Kompetenceudvikling, Strategisk HR Funktion (HR Uddannelsen), and Coaching i Organisationer. Pia Holm also attended Kompetence Forum, Køge Handelsskole, where they specialized in Projektledelse og projektstyring med Lean. In 2013, Pia Olesen completed afslutningsprojekt - HR Uddannelsen, 4. semester and specialeforløb HR Uddannelsen, 3. semester from KEA. Additionally, in 2015, they studied Personalejura at KEA. Pia has obtained further certifications, including Systemisk Anerkendene Coach from Københavns Professionshøjskole in March 2020 and Everything DiSC from Løfqvist & Gantzhorn A/S in January 2018.
