Matt Southwell

Matt Southwell currently serves as the Chair of Bi+ Georgia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting bisexual+ individuals in Georgia through advocacy and education. Southwell has a robust background in technology, currently working as a Level I Analyst at Vertisys Corp. since 2013, where responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Previous roles include running for a seat in the Georgia House of Representatives as a candidate in 2017-2018, serving as President of the Young Democrats of Cobb County from 2016 to 2017, and holding positions in technical management and support at Wandering WiFi from 2008 to 2013. Southwell earned a BA in English from Kennesaw State University, following completion of high school at Kennesaw Mountain High School.
