Melissa Barber

Melissa Barber has a strong background in rights administration and business affairs within the music industry. Melissa currently holds the position of Senior Manager at Symphonic Distribution, where they oversee these areas. Prior to their current role, Melissa spent six years at Anthem Entertainment Group, where they served as both a Senior Client Services Manager and a Client Services Manager in the Administration department. In these positions, they handled tasks such as worldwide registrations of works, issuing client statements, and analyzing income variances. Before joining Anthem, Melissa worked at ole Media Management, LP as a Client Services and Licensing Administration Coordinator, where they issued licenses for song usage and registered copyrights. Melissa began their career as an intern in the Administration Department at ole Media Management. Melissa also has experience outside of the music industry, as they previously worked as a Tour Guide at Belmont Mansion, where they conducted tours, assisted with events, and performed office duties.

Melissa Barber attended Harpeth High School from 2005 to 2009. After completing their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Music Business Production at Belmont University from 2009 to 2013.
