Dana Martin

Director, Quality Assurance & Instrumentation at Symphony Industrial AI

Dana Martin began their career in 1993 as an Engineer at Advanced Maintenance Technologies, where they performed field service and analysis of rotating machinery condition primarily using vibration analysis. In 1996, they joined DLI Engineering as a Senior Engineer, where they were responsible for new product development and testing, product certification, and product manufacturing support. During their tenure at DLI, they led the hardware and embedded software aspects of the AQ204 based DCX product and performed most of the system testing to validate its functions. In 2001, they joined Airbiquity as a System Test Engineer, where they tested DSP based modem hardware and software products. Dana was then promoted to System Validation & Testing Manager, where they managed the System Validation and Testing team to ensure product quality. In 2006, they joined Symphony AzimaAI as Director of Quality Assurance & Instrumentation, where they were responsible for hardware product quality assurance and led the data acquisition software and hardware test team. In this role, they were also directly responsible for the development and release of the TRIO line of vibration analysis instruments.

Dana Martin attained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine between 1987 and 1991. Dana then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 1993. Prior to that, they studied Computer Science at the University of Southern Maine between 1985 and 1987.
