Jean Americo Tomé

Jean Americo Tomé is an experienced data science professional with a robust background in managing teams and projects within the field. Currently serving as a Data Science Manager at frete.com and FreteBras since September 2021, Jean focuses on building and scaling data science teams while defining and executing predictive data strategies. Previous roles include Lead Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer at Fu2re Smart Solutions, where Jean managed projects in Computer Vision, Object Detection, and Natural Language Processing. Jean has also held positions as Head of Data Science at Radix Engineering and Software and as an instructor for data science courses at Tera. With a Master’s degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a background in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering, Jean possesses a strong foundation in the technical and practical applications of data science.
