Aleksandr Blatov

Aleksandr Blatov has extensive work experience in the field of software development and quality assurance. Aleksandr is currently working as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test at Symphony, where they support and enhances a custom test automation framework and manages WebRTC features releases. Aleksandr has introduced visual testing using Creevey and Storybook.

Prior to their current role, Aleksandr worked at EPAM Systems as a Lead Data Quality Engineer, where they developed a local Data Quality unit and implemented best practices on different projects. Aleksandr also acted as a resource manager for 9 teammates.

Before joining EPAM Systems, Aleksandr was a Senior QA Automation Engineer at DANATEQ, where they conducted manual and automated testing of an ML platform and successfully restored and updated over 500 automated tests in 3 months using Robot Framework.

Aleksandr also worked at EPAM Systems as a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer, where they conducted manual and automated testing of a Kubernetes-based system and interviewed candidates for the EPAM Data practice.

Earlier in their career, Aleksandr worked as a Software QA Engineer at LLS "Rusekspertiza," where they conducted manual and automated testing of a distributed system and led the development of a custom test framework.

Before transitioning into the software industry, Aleksandr worked as an investigator for crimes in economics at the Nizhny Novgorod Linear Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Transport.

Aleksandr Blatov completed their education at the Nizhny Novgorod Academy of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia from 2007 to 2012. Aleksandr obtained a Specialist degree in the investigation of economic crimes, with a focus on Jurisprudence in the general direction.

In addition to their formal education, Aleksandr Blatov has obtained several certifications. In March 2021, they became an AWS Certified Developer - Associate through Amazon Web Services. In September 2020, they obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level Syllabus 2018 Version from GASQ SERVICE GMBH. In August 2020, they completed a course on Data Quality Fundamentals from Udemy. Finally, in March 2020, they received training from Databricks on Getting Started with Apache Spark SQL.
