Gergely Puskas has extensive work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Gergely started their career at FreeSoft as a Software Engineer, where they developed various systems, including a Police Warrant Information System and an Employee and Flight Information System. Gergely then moved on to BNP Paribas - Cetelem Bank, where they worked as a Software Engineer, developing Credit Card and Loan Management systems. Gergely then joined EPAM Systems - UBS Projects, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead/Solution Architect. In these roles, they developed and coordinated the implementation of various systems, including a Global Equity Derivatives STP System and a Margin Risk Alert Management System. Finally, Gergely currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Symphony - Secure Seamless Communication.
Gergely Puskas completed their education at Eötvös Loránd University from 2001 to 2009, obtaining a Master's Degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications throughout their career. Gergely obtained the ITIL - IT Service Management Foundation Certification from EXIN in 2008. Gergely also obtained the Sun Certified Java Programmer certification from Sun Microsystems in 2007. In 2017, Gergely obtained two additional certifications - Machine Learning from the University of Washington and Leading People and Teams Specialization from the University of Michigan.
