Sirajul Salekin

Sirajul Salekin, PhD, currently serves as a Lead Machine Learning Scientist at SymphonyAI since September 2023. Previously, Sirajul held the position of Machine Learning Scientist at ReTech Labs, Inc from May 2018 to September 2023, where significant contributions included designing a deep learning framework for product recognition and implementing scalable object detection algorithms for retail operations. Sirajul's academic research at The University of Texas at San Antonio spanned various roles, including Research Assistant in Brain-Computer Interface Lab and Computational Genomics Lab, focusing on advanced models such as Adversarially Learned Inference and Generative Adversarial Networks for image and genomic data analysis. Sirajul has also served as a Teaching Assistant in the ECE Department, developing instructional materials and conducting classes. Earlier career experiences include roles in radio network planning at Robi Axiata Limited and as a BSS Engineer at Huawei. Sirajul holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a B.Sc. in the same field from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
