Marcelo Soares Cartacho

Marcelo Soares Cartacho is the Founder and COO of Sympla, Brazil's leading ticketing and event registration platform, a role held since 2012 where product development was a primary focus during the startup's early stages. Prior experience includes serving as an IT Project Manager at the Inter-American Development Bank from 2006 to 2011, managing complex software solutions for various stakeholders, and working as a Systems Analyst with the same institution from 2000 to 2005, participating in all stages of the software development cycle. Marcelo holds a Master's degree in Administration with a major in Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
