Phillip Rudy has over 30 years of experience in the design and architecture industries. Phillip began their career in 1990 as an Architectural Designer (Intern) at Powell/Kleinschmidt. Phillip then worked at Bahram Shirdel, Architect as an Architectural Designer (Intern) in 1991, and at Mark Robbins, Architect as an Architectural Designer (Intern) in 1992. In 1993, they worked at Michael Hasara, Architect as an Architectural Designer. From 1994 to 2003, Phillip Rudy held various positions including Senior Architectural Designer at Karlsberger, Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University, Austin E. Knowlton School of Architecture, and Principal | Director of Design at William Parrish Design and Development. From 1995 to 2015, they were the Managing Partner at OR Virtual, Inc., and from 2015 to present they have been the Director of Design and Advanced Programming at Sympo, Inc.

Phillip Rudy obtained their Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University - Austin E. Knowlton School of Architecture between 1987 and 1991. Phillip then went on to pursue a Master of Architecture in Architecture from the same university, which they completed between 1991 and 1994.
