Xiaotian Gu

Xiaotian Gu is a Senior Fragrance Development Manager at Symrise AG since July 2021, bringing extensive experience in fragrance development and management. Prior to this position, Xiaotian held the role of Creative Fragrance Manager at Givaudan from March 2017 to July 2021, where collaboration with perfumers and management of complex briefs were key responsibilities. Additionally, the role of Scent Design Manager at International Flavors & Fragrances from February 2010 to January 2017 involved managing home care projects in the ASPAC region and developing strategic fragrance platforms. Xiaotian’s career includes earlier positions as a Scent Design Associate and a Fragrance Development Manager Trainee at Firmenich, as well as an Application Lab Assistant at MANE. Xiaotian holds a Master of Science in Sciences et Technologies spécialités Parfumerie from ISIPCA and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering specialized in Flavor and Fragrance from Shanghai Institute of Technology.
