Renaud Dubourguais

Renaud Dubourguais is the current Director of Operations at Synacktiv. Renaud has 10 years and 3 months of experience with the company, starting as the Chief Operating Officer and eventually working their way up to their current position. Prior to Synacktiv, Renaud worked as a teacher at Master 2 Pro Sécurité des Systèmes Informatiques for 5 years and 5 months. Renaud also has 3 years and 2 months of experience as a security expert with HSC (Hervé Schauer Consultants). In their current position, Renaud is responsible for leading the business operations of the 4 business lines: penetration testing, reverse engineering, software development and incident response. Renaud is also responsible for providing production teams efficiency reporting, designing and organizing communication workflows between teams all across the company, and helping founders to design company strategies. In addition, Renaud provides financial reporting to C-Level executives and technical support and budget estimation to pre-sales team. As a penetration test team leader, they are responsible for scheduling, organizing and leading the penetration test business line (30 experts). Renaud also provides technical guidance during R&D operations and technical support and expertise to the team in its daily job. Furthermore, they provide expertise to the sales team during pre-sales meetings. As a security expert, Renaud has a great deal of experience in web applications, network, Windows and Linux/Unix environment, Cloud-based environment penetration testing but with a good flexibility to quickly gain technical knowledge on new technologies. Renaud is also responsible for providing guidance to customers to find the best remediation according to their environment. Additionally, they have designed and delivered trainings about advanced web application penetration testing and Windows environment penetration testing. Lastly, they mentor juniors to develop their skill set and expertise.

Renaud Dubourguais has a degree in Information System Architecture from the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Rouen (2006-2009), a Master 2 Pro in Information System Security from Université de Rouen Normandie (2008-2009), and a DUT in Génie informatique from IUT de Caen (2004-2006).
