Ian Mitchell

Ian Mitchell has a diverse work experience in various companies. Ian served as the Vice President of Technical Operations and Support at Synacor, leading large global infrastructure, architecture, technical operations, and customer support teams. Ian mentored department heads and ensured compliance with industry standards. Prior to that, Ian held the position of Executive Director of Technical Operations at Synacor, where they managed similar responsibilities and provided service and support to the cloud and data centers. Earlier in their career, Ian worked as the Director of Information Technology at Iredale Mineral Cosmetics, overseeing corporate systems, CRM support, and e-commerce management. Ian successfully implemented an outsourced e-commerce platform, resulting in significant revenue growth and recognition as a leading brand. Before that, Ian was the Application Development Manager at WorkshopLive, where they built and mentored a team to develop an online music education website and introduced an engaging interface for lesson content.

Ian Mitchell attended St Margarets High School from 1979 to 1985. Ian then pursued a degree in Business and Information Technology at Liverpool John Moores University from 1992 to 1995, earning a BA Hons.
