Martijn Arns

Martijn Arns is an experienced researcher and academic currently serving as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University and an Associate Professor at Maastricht University. With a distinguished background as the Research Director and Founder of Brainclinics Foundation, established in 2001, Martijn has significantly contributed to the understanding of the brain and the development of innovative neuromodulation treatments. Additional leadership roles include Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board at Sama Therapeutics, Scientific Advisor at Synaeda, and Expert Advisory Board Member at Convergence Partners. Martijn has also held key positions in various Brainclinics spin-offs, including Founding Director of Brainclinics Treatment, Brainclinics Education, and Brainquiry, where advancements in EEG technology and clinical training in neuromodulation have been achieved. Academic credentials include a PhD from Utrecht University focused on personalized medicine in ADHD and depression and an MSc in Biological Psychology from Radboud University.
