Vanessa Duval-Tougas is an experienced agronomist currently employed at SynAgri since 2015. Prior roles include research assistant at the Faculté des sciences de l'agriculture et de l'alimentation at Université Laval from September 2014 to April 2015, focusing on the development of biological products for plant disease management, research intern at the Université de Sherbrooke from May 2012 to August 2013, where Vanessa extracted and identified endophytes associated with the actinomycète Frankia ssp., and research intern at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in late 2011, analyzing salt perception related to salt geometry and contributing to the production of reduced-salt Cheddar cheese. Vanessa holds a bachelor's degree in Agronomy and Phytotechnics from Université Laval (2013-2015) and a bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Université de Sherbrooke (2009-2013).
