David Burleson

David Burleson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. David began their career at Harris Corporation as a Hardware Engineer, specializing in computer peripherals. David then joined Scientific Atlanta, where they worked on hardware and software projects as a Principal Engineer. After the acquisition of Scientific Atlanta by Cisco, David became the Director of ASIC Engineering at Cisco Systems, managing a team that developed industry-leading System-on-Chips. David later took on roles as the Director of Engineering and VP of Engineering at Cisco, leading teams of engineers and program managers for global projects. Most recently, David joined Synamedia as the SVP of Engineering, overseeing the development of cloud-based video products. Throughout their career, David has consistently demonstrated leadership and a focus on global product development.

David Burleson attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1977 to 1981, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BEE). David later pursued their Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) at the same institution, completing their studies in 1987.
