Samuel Katz

Samuel Katz is an experienced professional in intellectual property and technology management, currently serving as Director of Patents at Synamedia since November 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing the global patent portfolio and developing an efficient patenting program. Prior roles include Director of Global Patent Prosecution at Cisco Systems, where management of corporate patent development was key, and Manager of the Patents Department at NDS Technologies, focusing on global patent portfolio protection. Katz has also held senior positions in venture capital and private equity, including as VP of Technology at Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity Management. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA.
