Julia Cochrane

Julia Cochrane has diverse work experience in the field of medical research and laboratory science. Julia currently works as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at SYNAPS Dx since March 2021. Prior to that, they were a Research Intern at Vanderbilt University from January 2018 to May 2020. During their time at Vanderbilt University, they also served as a Research Assistant and Shadowing Student at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from January 2019 to March 2020. In their role as a Shadowing Student, they had the opportunity to observe and document the work of Dr. Reid C. Thompson, Chairman of the Department of Neurological Surgery and Director of Neurosurgical Oncology. Julia's earliest work experience was as a Researcher at Dart Neuroscience from August 2015 to January 2016.

Julia Cochrane completed their Master's degree in Systems Medicine from Georgetown University in the period from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience between 2016 and 2020.
