What We Need

We are seeking a seasoned professional for the pivotal role of Sr. Director, Prescriber Engagement. This position is at the forefront of our growth and business development strategy, leading a team of professionals focused on education and introduction of our business model and driving adoption of our proprietary ordering platform. The goal of Prescriber Engagement is to optimize patient satisfaction, increase sales revenue, learn and understand our prescribers’ businesses and how best to support their DME needs, and drive new patient acquisition within the healthcare ecosystem. 

What You Will Do

  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Provide visionary leadership to a team of Prescriber Adoption Managers, setting strategic goals and objectives aligned with department and organizational targets.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
    • Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, fostering a team of experienced professionals dedicated to achieving excellence in patient adoption management. 
  • Business Development:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive lead/demand generation strategies to expand our market presence and enhance relationships with key stakeholders, including referral sources, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
    • Collaborate closely with the Marketing department to refine messaging and educational materials targeted at patients, families, physicians, and clinics, driving awareness and confidence in our services.
    • Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion within the healthcare landscape, leveraging industry insights and market trends to inform strategic decision-making. 
  • Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, payers, and referral sources, driving engagement and collaboration to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor and resource to external stakeholders, offering expertise on insurance authorization, billing processes, and reimbursement guidelines to facilitate seamless patient care. 
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Oversee the timely processing and completion of complex orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements to meet patient needs effectively.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to address operational challenges and streamline processes, driving efficiency and enhancing the overall customer experience. 

What You Have

  • Extensive experience in the healthcare industry, with a proven track record of success in sales, business development, or lead generation roles within the Home Medical Equipment (HME)/Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or post-acute care spaces. 
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in healthcare sales, business development, or related roles, with demonstrated leadership experience. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in full healthcare ecosystem inclusive of Home Health, SNFs, Hospital Systems, Primary Care, ACO’s, Specialists, etc.  
  • Understanding of back-office workflows, documentation, and reimbursement guidelines across various payer sources, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Electronic Medical Record Systems (EMR) and proficiency in MS Office applications, with the ability to adapt to job-specific software systems. 
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence. 
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of identifying opportunities for growth and driving initiatives to capitalize on market trends. 
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering superior customer service and patient care. 
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, business management, healthcare administration, or related field. 
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
