Terri Marquardt McLean has extensive experience in human resources, holding various roles throughout their career. Terri started their career at Sierra Geophysics, a Halliburton Company, as a Revenue Accounting Specialist in 1992. In 1994, they joined Spacelabs Healthcare as a Benefits Administrator, managing employee health and welfare programs. Terri then moved to Precor in 1998, where they held multiple roles, including HR Generalist, HR Partner, HR Manager, and Director of Human Resources. At Precor, they developed strategic HR plans, implemented wellness and total rewards programs, and built positive relationships with employees and leaders. In 2015, Terri joined Synapse Product Development, initially as a Director of Human Resources and later as the Senior Director of Human Resources. Synapse is a product development and consultancy firm that works with leading companies to create innovative products and experiences. Terri's role at Synapse involves providing insight, tools, and processes to deliver technology ecosystems to the market. Throughout their career, Terri has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive change management efforts.

Terri Marquardt McLean, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CCP, CBP completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at Western Washington University, where they pursued a business major with a minor in sociology. In addition to their degree, Terri McLean has obtained several certifications to further their professional development. These certifications include SPHR (obtained in 2005) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, SHRM-SCP (obtained in 2015) from SHRM, CCP (obtained in 2015) from WorldatWork, CBP (obtained in 2018) from WorldatWork, and HCS (obtained in 2014) from the Human Capital Institute (HCI). Furthermore, they obtained a Washington State Insurance License from the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner in 1997. Additionally, Terri McLean acquired a certification in "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for All" from LinkedIn in August 2020.
