Matt Kennedy

Matt Kennedy is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial leadership and analytics. Currently serving as the VP, Finance Transformation Business Insights & Forecasting Leader at Synchrony, Kennedy enhances analytic and forecasting capabilities to support informed decision-making for the Finance function. Previous roles at Synchrony included responsibilities for investment optimization and finance data analytics across various platforms, as well as oversight of the PayPal portfolio’s financial strategies. Prior experience at GE Capital involved financial forecasting and planning for portfolios, including Toys "R" Us and Chevron. Additionally, Kennedy serves as Treasurer for Events to End Pediatric Tumors, a non-profit focused on fundraising for pediatric brain tumor organizations. Kennedy holds an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Friends University.
