Sherman Sham

Sherman Sham, MS, serves as the Vice President of Credit Analytics and Strategic Initiatives at Synchrony Financial, where responsibilities include implementing an $80 billion consumer-based credit risk model and enhancing KPIs for agile decision-making. Previously, Sherman held roles at MBIA, including Director of Treasury Operation and Vice President, overseeing financial and treasury operations and leading strategic planning and quantitative credit modeling. Sherman's earlier experience includes managing a financial analysis team at Kimberly-Clark, where significant contributions to budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis were made. Sherman holds a Master of Science in Economics with a focus on Econometrics and a Bachelor of Science in Management Science from Penn State University.
