Carlos da Costa

Carlos da Costa has over 20 years of work experience in software development. Carlos started their career in 1999 as a Developer at Lynx Internet Solutions. In 2000, they moved to Aspect Internet as a Senior Developer. From 2005 to 2006, they worked at LB Icon as a Technical Consultant and then at LBi as a Technical Architect. In 2007, they founded 73bit, a web development company based in south-west London. In 2008, they took on the role of Chief Technical Officer at Candi International. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Software Consultant at Kaldor Product Development Group. In 2018, they joined Citymapper as Lead Engineer of the Cities team, where they managed and mentored the team, in addition to bi-weekly 1:1s and quarterly reviews. Currently, Carlos da Costa is a Senior Developer at Synchtank.

Carlos da Costa attended the University of Cape Town from 1992 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
