Esteban Gómez Soto

Esteban Guerrero is an Associate Professor in Social-aware Artificial Intelligence at Umeå University, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this, Esteban served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Vaasa from September 2021 to February 2024, contributing to the Digiconsumers project aimed at enhancing financial skills among young adults. Esteban's experience includes research roles at Umeå University and the University of Umea, focusing on intelligent systems, human activity recognition, and non-monotonic reasoning. Additionally, Esteban has held academic positions as a lecturer and assistant professor in Colombia, as well as serving as a Learning Management Systems Coordinator at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Esteban's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Umeå University and multiple master's degrees in Computer Science and Telematics Engineering.
