Thomas Nilsson

Thomas Nilsson is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in architecture, product management, and AI development. Currently serving as Chief Architect and Head of AI and Cloud Platform at Syncron since March 2021, Thomas previously held roles including CTO/CPO at Marakanda SE, where the focus was on scaling machine learning platforms and data engineering teams. Thomas's career also includes significant positions at eBuilder as SVP and Chief Product Officer, where the strategic direction for innovative SaaS solutions was defined, and Tieto as Chief Architect, leading architectural governance. With a strong foundation in Java development from earlier roles at Ericsson and Entra Data AB, coupled with degrees in International Business and Engineering Physics from Uppsala University, Thomas brings a blend of technical expertise and strategic vision to the technology sector.
