Elizabeth O'Connor

Elizabeth O'Connor has a strong background in medical writing and project management. Elizabeth is currently working as a Senior Director of Medical Writing at Syndax Pharmaceuticals since July 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Medical Writing at Syndax Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from June 2022 to July 2023. Elizabeth has also worked as an Associate Director of Medical Writing at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from August 2021 to May 2022. Before that, they served as an Associate Director of Medical Writing at Treximo from December 2020 to July 2021. Elizabeth gained experience in regulatory and medical writing as an Associate Manager at MMS from October 2018 to December 2020, and as a Medical Writer II - Technical Lead from April 2016 to December 2020. Additionally, they have previous experience as a Project Manager at Paradigm Diagnostics, a Staff Development Scientist at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Graduate Student at Wayne State University, and a Research Assistant at Wayne State University School of Medicine and Henry Ford Health System and Health Alliance Plan.

Elizabeth O'Connor completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biomedical Sciences at Western Michigan University from 1993 to 1997. From 2001 to 2003, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Molecular Biotechnology at Wayne State University.
