Rini Thomas

Rini Thomas is a seasoned professional in the field of drug safety and pharmacovigilance, currently serving as a Senior Drug Safety Specialist at Syndax Pharmaceuticals since May 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Drug Safety Scientist Lead at Alpine Immune Sciences, Inc. from April 2022 to May 2025, and Safety Scientist at UBC from August 2018 to April 2022. Rini's career began with positions at American Regent, Inc. and Johnson & Johnson as a Drug Safety Associate, and further developed as a Pharmacovigilance Associate at Novartis. Rini holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Sri Ramachandra Institute Of Higher Education and Research, obtained between 2006 and 2013.
