Eric Velázquez Marín

Eric Velázquez Marín has a diverse work experience history. Eric is currently working as a Senior Backend Engineer at Syndicate since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at SALT Lending from July 2019 to March 2023. During that time, they held the role of Lead Software Engineer and was responsible for leading a team, managing timelines, and developing a refactor for the entire Back End system. Eric also served as a Full Stack Engineer at SALT Lending, leading cross-functional teams and automating processes to speed up the loan request process. Before joining SALT Lending, Eric worked as a Teacher Assistant at the University of Colorado from August 2018 to April 2019. Eric also worked as an IT Specialist at the University of Colorado from August 2017 to May 2018, where they collaborated with a team to solve computer problems, installed and configured various equipment, and tested software patches.

Eric Velázquez Marín completed their Bachelor's degree in ICT Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2013 to 2017. Eric then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Colorado, from 2017 to 2019. Subsequently, they enrolled in Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations, completing it from 2019 to 2021.
