Sasha Koniev has a diverse work experience in the field of bioconjugation and coordination chemistry. They started their career at Enamine Ltd. in 2006, where they worked as a half-time research assistant, focusing on organic synthesis and the development of synthesis of 6-azaspiro[2.5]octane-1-carboxylic acid derivatives. In 2010, they joined LCC Toulouse and University of Strasbourg, working on coordination chemistry and bioconjugation respectively. In 2014, Sasha co-founded Syndivia and served as the CEO. They have also worked as an Expert in Biotechnologies for Ukrainian Startup Fund since 2020.
Sasha Koniev's education history begins in 2005 when they enrolled at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry, completing their studies in 2009. In 2009-2010, Sasha pursued further education at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) in Organic Chemistry. They then moved on to the University of Strasbourg from 2010 to 2014, where they received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Organic Chemistry with a specialization in Bioconjugation. Their educational journey continued in 2015-2016 at HEC Paris, where they focused on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies without obtaining a specific degree.
