Annabelle Newman

Annabelle Newman is an experienced legal professional currently serving as VP and Assistant General Counsel at Syneos Health since October 2016, where responsibilities include leading EMEA legal operations. Annabelle has held various legal roles during tenure at Syneos Health, progressing from Senior Corporate Counsel to interim Head of APAC Legal. Prior to this, Annabelle spent over seven years at BG Group, a Royal Dutch Shell company, as In House Counsel, contributing to corporate legal strategies in global exploration and production. Additional experience includes serving as a Trainee Solicitor at Queensland Gas Company and Herbert Smith Freehills, and as Legal Director at Music Legal Consultancy Ltd. Annabelle's early career involved roles with Flextronics, Shoosmiths, and ownership of One Inch Records. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Legal Practice Course from De Montfort University and a BA Honours in Music Industry Management from Buckinghamshire New University.
