Carol Aliyar

Carol Aliyar is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research sectors. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Safety & Pharmacovigilance at Syneos Health since January 2018, Carol is recognized for defining clear strategies and inspiring teams to excel in challenging SPVG programs. Prior to this, Carol held several leadership roles at INC Research, including Executive Vice President of Site Start Up and previously served as Senior Vice President, Global Head Study Start Up. Additional experience includes key positions at ICON plc and Quintiles, along with early roles at Boehringer Ingelheim and Ciba-Geigy. Carol holds a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Biochemistry from the University of Glasgow and furthered education at Cardiff University.
