Suma Ramadas

Suma Ramadas is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in Medical Affairs, currently serving as Executive Vice President and Global Head at Syneos Health since May 2015. In this role, Suma leads comprehensive Medical Affairs solutions across the product lifecycle, managing profit and loss responsibilities across multiple divisions including Consulting and Real World Evidence. Prior roles at Syneos Health include Executive Managing Director of Value, Access, HEOR, and Medical Affairs, where Suma expanded responsibilities due to the growth of the Medical Affairs sector, and Senior Managing Director of Medical Affairs, where Suma revitalized a declining business. Previously, Suma held key positions at Campbell Alliance and St. Jude Medical, where significant contributions included the establishment of a global Medical Affairs function and management of numerous clinical studies. Educational qualifications include a PhD and Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from UCLA, and a Bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley.
