Neil Butera

Neil Butera has extensive experience in various roles within the biopharmaceutical industry. Neil is currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Syner-G BioPharma Group. Prior to this, they worked as a Commercial Operations Advisor at Sequoia Consulting Group.

In 2012, Butera co-founded and became the Chairman of Its About Caring for Kids (IACKids), an organization that raises funds to support families dealing with severe illness in children in the Greater Rochester New York region.

Before their current roles, Butera had a long tenure at Parexel, where they held several leadership positions. This includes serving as the Executive Director of Sales Strategy & Global Head of Inside Sales for Parexel Biotech, Senior Director & Global Head of Inside Sales, and Director of Global Head of Inside Sales. Neil also spent some time as the Director of Customer Strategy, Americas at PAREXEL Consulting.

Butera's earlier experience includes a role as Director of Business Development at Ockham (now Chiltern), a global contract research organization. Neil has also worked as an Associate Director of Business Development at Parexel and as a Manager of Client Development at Nielsen, where their focus was healthcare market research and patient recruitment.

Prior to entering the biopharmaceutical industry, Butera worked in sales and recruiting at Aerotek. Overall, their experience spans various aspects of sales, strategy, and leadership within the biopharmaceutical and healthcare research fields.

Neil Butera attended St. John Fisher University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, with a general focus.
