Yingru Zou

Yingru Zou is a multifaceted professional currently serving as Chair of Marketing at Boston University Gliding and Soaring, and as an Undergraduate Researcher and Mentor at Boston University. Yingru Zou holds the position of Project Manager at Synergies Intelligent Systems, Inc. and is the Director of Outreach for the Boston University Venture Capital Group. As a Civic Hackathon Software Designer for BU Spark!, Yingru Zou developed a mobile app interface and website for 'Health Talk' to promote health equity. Yingru Zou also leads Career Development efforts as Vice President of BUCSSA, organizing events and establishing connections with guest speakers. Notable achievements include securing third place in the MIT iQuHACK 2024 and enhancing operational efficiency at DingTalk as a Software Development Engineer in Test. Yingru Zou's research experience includes a study on musical intervention in autism therapy, resulting in a published paper. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science at Boston University, Yingru Zou is anticipated to graduate in May 2026.
