Isabella Camilleri is a graduate student instructor at the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, where responsibilities include running laboratory sections for an introductory biology course. Currently serving as a graduate research assistant in the Kozik Lab, Isabella utilizes bioinformatics to analyze clinical trial data. In addition to academic roles, Isabella is a chapter founder and alumni representative for Doctors Without Borders in the USA, actively involved in the social media and event planning for the organization. Previously, Isabella founded and served as president of the Friends of MSF at UM-Dearborn, and has experience as a physical therapy technician at Synergy Health Partners MSO. Clinical shadowing experience in Italy provided exposure to various medical specialties. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Michigan – Rackham Graduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
