John D. Campbell

John D. Campbell, MD, MBA, is a seasoned orthopedic surgeon and healthcare executive with extensive experience in acute care services. Recently retired in July 2023 from Synergy Health Partners, Campbell previously served as President/CEO of Synergy Surgicalists from 2012 to 2023, enhancing patient care and response times in surgical services. As a founding partner and managing partner at Bridger Orthopedic from 1991 to 2013, Campbell contributed to the practice's growth into a significant provider of orthopedic care. Additionally, Campbell has provided trauma care and sports medicine services at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital while also serving as Team Physician for Montana State University’s Division I athletes. Educational credentials include an MD from the University of Tennessee-Health Science Center and an MBA from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee.
