Garry Orr

Garry Orr has extensive experience in operational leadership, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Operations at Synergy Hire Ltd since March 2019. Previously, Garry spent over two decades at Ardent Hire Solutions Ltd as SHEQ Director, where responsibilities included managing health and safety for 260 colleagues, writing and implementing procedures, and driving the business towards ISO certifications. Garry also held the position of Director of Operations at One Call Hire Ltd for 18 years, and worked as Plant Manager at both Amec and OC Summers earlier in the career. Garry holds a CPC qualification and has a strong background in risk management and compliance reporting to the board. Education was completed at Kilmarnock Academy between 1980 and 1984.
