Yvonne McNamara

Yvonne McNamara, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of medical communications, with a focus on scientific direction and project management. Yvonne has worked at Synergy Medical Communications since 2015, starting as a Project Manager and progressing to roles such as Senior Project Manager, Associate Project Director, and Scientific Director. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Scientific Director. Prior to this, Yvonne worked at Thomson Reuters as a Conferences Editor from 2011 to 2014, where they attended various scientific conferences and wrote reports and abstracts on clinical trials and drug development. Yvonne also has experience as a Research Scientist at the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Trinity College Dublin in 2011. Yvonne's educational background includes a PhD in the design and evaluation of anticancer agents for Burkitt's lymphoma treatment, which they conducted at the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Trinity College Dublin from 2007 to 2011.

Yvonne McNamara, PhD earned their Leaving Cert from Loreto High School Beaufort in 2003. Yvonne then went on to complete their BA in Medicinal Chemistry at Trinity College Dublin from 2003 to 2007. From 2007 to 2011, they pursued their PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.
