Clay Westbay, CISA, MCP

Clay Westbay has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Clay started their career as a Network Technician at Prince George County Public Schools in 2004, where they provided network, server, and desktop support. Clay then became a Technology Specialist, responsible for managing technical solutions and ensuring timely delivery. During their time there, they also served as a member of the board for the Comprehensive Planning Committee. In 2012, Clay joined Mitchell, Wiggins & Company as the Director of Information Technology, where they developed an IT strategy to increase efficiency and client satisfaction. Clay led several key IT projects and managed all IT support operations and vendors. Since 2014, Clay has been working at Synergy Technical, LLC. Clay started as a Consultant, working as a Project Manager. In 2015, they transitioned to the role of Director, PMO, and in 2016, they became the Vice President, Service and Delivery. These roles involved overseeing service and delivery operations, managing projects, and ensuring client satisfaction. Clay has demonstrated expertise in IT strategy development, project management, and technical support throughout their career.

Clay Westbay, CISA, MCP completed their education history with a Master of Science (M.S.) in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University, which they earned between 2014 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Media Studies from Radford University, which they completed between 2000 and 2004.

In terms of additional certifications, Clay Westbay has received several credentials from Microsoft, including being certified as a Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate in April 2023, a Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate in November 2022, and a Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate in March 2021. Clay also holds the CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor certification, although the institution where they obtained it and the specific date of its acquisition are unknown.
