Duane Laurent has been working in the IT field for over 15 years. Duane started their career as a technician and has since worked their way up to Field Engineer. Duane has experience with a variety of systems and is always up for a challenge. Duane is currently employed at Synetek Solutions, where they have been for the past two years. Prior to that, they worked at Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement as IT Manager from August 2008 to January 2015. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading computers, as well as troubleshooting all pc, printer, and network issues. Duane also managed, installed, and configured Organization Units across domains for Windows 2003 Active Directory; configured TCP/IP 2000, XP, Vista, & 7; provided desktop support level 3; managed the 2003 Exchange Server; completed office setup and site relocation tasks. From October 2006 to August 2008, Duane worked as a technician at Younland Kiddie stores/Kid City. Before that, they were at R.T Hudson from February 2005 to October 2011 as Network Administrator, where they built the network from the ground up using Windows 2003 server and integrated a wired and wireless system with custom cabling. Duane also set-up email accounts using pop3 server and managed the network system and configurations. Duane's first technician role was at SoBRO from October 2004 to January 2007. Throughout their career, Duane has continuously taken on new challenges and expanded their skillset. Duane is an asset to any team and always goes above and beyond to get the job done right.
Duane Laurent is a computer administrator and engineer who has a degree from SUNY Westchester Community College. Duane also has a degree in electronic and computer engineering from DeVry University. Duane has a Regents Diploma from NORTHEASTERN ACADEMY HIGH SCHOOL.
