Nishan Shanmugaratnam

Nishan Shanmugaratnam has a strong background in electrical hardware development and MRI technology. They began their career as an RF Engineer at Sentinelle Medical in 2007, where they designed industry-leading Breast Imaging Systems, managed product teams, and completed FDA requirements and documentation. In 2013, they transitioned to Synaptive Medical as a Senior MRI Developer, overseeing MRI development projects. They then joined SciCan in 2018 as an Electrical Hardware Developer before moving to their current role at Synex Medical, also as an Electrical Hardware Developer.

Nishan Shanmugaratnam earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University from 2000 to 2005.
