Deirdre Traynor

Deirdre Traynor is a seasoned professional in the medical research field, currently serving as Director of Quality and Director of Sites South Africa at Synexus SA since January 2003, managing both dedicated and affiliated research sites while contributing to the South African Executive Committee. Previously, from 2019 to June 2023, Deirdre held the global position of Director of Data and Quality at Accelerated Enrollment Solutions, leading a team focused on compliance and operational standards across research sites. Deirdre’s early career includes roles as Site Manager at CRC SA and as a Study Coordinator at the University of Pretoria, along with nursing positions at HF Verwoerd Hospital and Rob Ferreira Hospital. Deirdre Traynor holds a nursing degree from SG Lourens Nursing College.
