Tad Nicol

Tad Nicol has a strong background in software engineering, beginning with freelance software development in 2014. In 2015, they joined Finishing Move Inc. as a Software Engineer, and in 2017 they became the Head Software Engineer at MAAT Digital, where they developed native apps and plug-ins for Windows & macOS, 32 & 64 bit, and supported and tested for AAX, VST2, VST3, & AU audio plug-in formats. In 2014, they also worked as a Software Engineer at Soundslates. Prior to that, they were an Artist, Musician, and Producer at https://soundcloud.com/muirmusic since 2009. Additionally, they were a DSP/Software Engineer Intern at iZotope, Inc. in 2014. Currently, they are a Staff Audio Software Engineer at Syng since 2020.

Tad Nicol obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Music Engineering Technology from the University of Miami in 2015. In 2017, they obtained a Wilderness First Aid certification from NOLS Wilderness Medicine.
