Detelin Koutzarov

Detelin Koutzarov is an experienced professional in the agricultural sector, currently serving as the Head of CP Business Area Black Sea at Syngenta since February 2009, a role that follows positions such as Head of Commercial unit Balkans and Crop Marketing Head South East Europe. Koutzarov's career at Syngenta began as a Sales Head, where tenure lasted from March 1998 until January 2009. Prior to joining Syngenta, Koutzarov worked as a Senior Expert in Crop Protection at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food in Bulgaria from September 1996 to February 1998. Koutzarov holds a Master's degree in Crop Protection from Agricultural University Plovdiv, Bulgaria, earned between 1991 and 1996, and completed executive education at INSEAD in 2010.
