Nestor Algarin

Nestor Algarin is an experienced professional in regulatory compliance and agricultural management. Currently serving as a Federal Regulatory Product Manager at Syngenta since June 2020, Nestor has previously held roles such as a North American Supply Chain Quality and Compliance Specialist at Corteva Agriscience and a Regulatory Specialist at Dow AgroSciences. Nestor's background includes significant experience with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, progressing from Environmental Specialist I to III in compliance monitoring for both pesticide and fertilizer sections. Nestor began the career in agriculture in Puerto Rico, overseeing incentive programs and managing a mechanization center within the Departamento de Agricultura de Puerto Rico. Nestor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Mechanization from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
