Teresa L.

Teresa L. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Teresa started their career as a Training Management Trainee at Xunta de Galicia in 1999. Teresa then worked as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at R Cable y Telecomunicaciones Galicia, S.A for a short period before joining GMV as a Junior HRBP and Learning and Development Specialist. At GMV, Teresa provided HR support to business units, defined and implemented skills-based management systems, and supported HR policies development and compensation functions.

In 2005, Teresa joined Vodafone as a Learning and Development Specialist, where they were responsible for top executives' development programs, design and management of development centers, and 360° assessment processes. After three years, they moved to NEORIS as a Human Capital Manager, where they managed clients and partners, designed HR consulting offerings, and oversaw HR projects.

In 2012, Teresa joined Syngenta as an HR Manager, with responsibilities including organizational development, restructuring, mergers, and outsourcing projects. Teresa also managed work councils and led negotiations. In 2018, they were promoted to HR Head of Syngenta Iberia, where they contributed to shaping the company's culture, adapting organizational structures to business priorities, and strengthening leadership within the industry. Teresa currently holds the position of HR Head for Syngenta Iberia and Global HRBP for Crop Research Chemistry.

Teresa L.'s education history includes a postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management from Universidad Intercontinental de la Empresa, which they pursued from 1999 to 2000. Before that, from 1997 to 1999, they attended Universidad de Santiago de Compostela where they focused on studying Labour in Law. Earlier in their academic journey, Teresa obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political and Social Sciences from the same university, which they pursued from 1992 to 1997.

In addition to their formal education, Teresa has also obtained certifications in Cultivating Mental Agility and People Analytics from LinkedIn. Teresa earned the Cultivating Mental Agility certification in October 2021 and the People Analytics certification in April 2021.
