Twan Groot

Twan Groot has a diverse work experience in the field of plant breeding. Twan started their career as a BSc Thesis student at the Laboratory of Plant Physiology in 2014. Twan then joined Wageningen University & Research again in 2016 for their MSc Thesis, focusing on the Growth & Development Group in the Plant Breeding Department. In 2017, Twan completed an MSc Internship at Syngenta. Twan progressed within the company, initially as a Junior Breeding Project Lead for cabbage and later as a Breeding Project Lead. Twan'srole at Syngenta started in September 2017 and is ongoing.

Twan Groot completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Plant Sciences at Wageningen University & Research from 2012 to 2015. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Plant Breeding and Genetic Resources within the field of Master Plant Sciences at the same institution from 2015 to 2017.
